Another way of giving to Missions is through Benevolence.  Benevolence is used as an emergency fund for Highview Church of God members and their close family.  Benevolence may help someone who has lost a job, or has needs because of a sudden illness, etc.  Again, just mark your pink offering envelope if you want to give to this ministry and drop it in the offering plate.

Donations are currently needed for:

Missions collects the following.  Drop your items off at the Fellowship Hall Donation Center:

  • cards & calendars for St. Jude's Ranch
  • Christian books, devotionals, curriculum, etc. for Love Packages
  • toiletry items for migrant farm workers

The Missions Budget is met through your Faith Promise.  The last Sunday in September is your opportunity to make a Faith Promise Pledge toward Missions.  A Faith Promise is between you and God alone.  We do not keep a record of your pledge.  You depend on God to provide you with your pledge.  You can give weekly, monthly or annually.  Just mark your pink offering envelope and drop it in the offering plate.

LIVING LINK is a program of missionary support by which a congregation participates prayerfully and financially in the ministry of a missionary. The missionary, the country where he/she serves, and the people among whom he/she lives become a part of the local congregation’s life. Living Link helps the congregation learn about a new culture as missionaries share through correspondence, pictures, visits, etc. Our Living Link missionaries are Dave & Bonnie Baylor serving in Kenya, Africa.

INDIA GOSPEL LEAGUE supports Rev. Sam Stephens of India in evangelizing, church planting and native pastor preparation.

CARING PARTNERS INTERNATIONAL supports the ministry of Rev. Lener Cauper in South America, particularly Brazil and Peru.

HORIZON INTERNATIONAL serves orphaned children in Africa.  We particularly support Rev. Dan Murrell.
